What will you learn?

This is a 2 day in-class teaching experience program
Program content involves various TEFL approaches including Peer Teach practice
Trainees acquire practical teaching skills and understanding of the contemporary teaching styles including TEFL methods
Program covers Modern Teaching Approaches, English as a Foreign Language Awareness, Lesson Planning, Classroom Management, etc.
Evaluation and assessment techniques are also integrated

Course Curriculum

DAY 1

Classroom management - 2 ½ hours
(Classroom Components, Board Management, Using Technology, Role-Plays)
Importance of lesson plan - 1 hour
(Why to Plan, What to Plan, How to Plan and When To Plan, Format)
Bloom's Taxonomy - 30 min
Evaluation and Assessment 30 min
Reading demo 40 - min
Debriefing - 30 min
Lesson Plan Writing including preparation for Peer Teaching - 1 ½ hours
Total duration - 7 ½ hours approx.

DAY 2

Phonology 2 ½ hours approx.
Peer Teaching including Feedback - 3 ½ hours approx.
Certification - 30 min
Total duration - 6 ½ hours approx.

Certification Details

ACT is now associated with Cambridge and has become the authorised centre for conducting Cambridge TKT Exam all over India. Interested candidates may register and appear for as many modules as they want.
Modules 1-3 consist of the test of knowledge about the principles and practice of English language teaching and Specialist modules - TKT CLIL and TKT YL comprise of an introduction to specialist areas of English language teaching.
ACT TEFL courses are accredited by the world's largest TESOL accreditation body TESOL Canada & TESOL USA
Our TEFL Students can appear for TESOL Canada Board Exam and after successful completion can receive TESOL Canada Certification which can Notarized, Apostle, and Attested by Embassy of India in Ottawa or Washington
This Certificate can be signed and sealed by UAE Embassy in USA or Canada and the Canada - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and USA - Department of Foreign Affairs recognises this certificate.
Students successfully completing TESOL Course can further opt for Master of Science in Education (English Speakers of Other Languages)

Fees details

The 2 days' In-class Teaching Experience Program is available at a reasonable course fee of 10,000 INR (inclusive of 18% GST). The course fee payment details will be mailed to the candidates once they agree to be part of this program. The course fee can be paid through online payment using Debit / Credit Card or by depositing Cash, Cheque or Demand Draft to ACT's bank account.
